This tape does the job. I gave it one star for several reasons, probably all because I'm used to scotch shipping tape. First, the tape doesn't come off the roll as smoothly. I use it in a manual case sealer and for reasons I can't explain it keeps curling up. It's also not that clear and you can see the adhesive in some places as if it were a sticky material. Another reason I'm not a big fan (and this is a completely subjective user opinion) is the terrible smell. I don't smell any other tape, but this thing smells awful to me. I love the smell so much I was about to return it before realizing I'd used up half a roll. Even if I wanted to return it, it doesn't guarantee a lower rating because, as I said, it's a personal matter. After all, the price is solid and much cheaper than I'm used to. on this one and indeed it does the job I recommend.
