Review on 🚙 Rugged Ridge 12920.28 Front Floor Liner, Black, for 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee & 06-09 Commander WK / XK by Mark Hart

I love these rugs! They fit like a glove and their construction is superior to anything I have seen or had including Weathertech. The walls are nice and high and hold loads of dirt/sand/snow. They also look great and keep my carpet clean and dry. A few things to note: First, if you have a VES DVD entertainment system, the rear floor mats won't quite fit since the center console is larger. You can cut the center of the mat around the VES or do what I did and just remove the DVD player (just pull, it's held by the spring clips), lay the mat down and then reinstall the VES. Second, the front end of my mat ended up folded up in a box right next to the pedals and was very resistant to laying flat. After putting it by the fireplace for an hour, the carpet softened, but it still didn't lay flat. It took a heat gun to remove the paint to heat the mat's surface just enough for the thick rubber to relax and return to its original shape. If you don't have a heat gun I'd probably just trade it in as it seemed like an isolated packaging issue with only one mat. Not sure where the negative review came from, but this Rugged Ridge part number (12987.33) is for the 05-10 Grand Cherokee WK and 06-10 Commander XK. As these are custom made floor mats they will not fit if you do not have one of these cars. No need for negative feedback because you bought the wrong item.
