I made the mistake of buying another (not cheaper) brand. After several washes, my dishes had such a heavy film of limescale that I had to soak my glasses in vinegar to remove it. The inside of the dishwasher was also covered with a film. I cleaned the dishwasher twice with dish soap and then went back to Cascade Platinum. Now everything comes out clean. If you have really hard water, make sure you buy Cascade Platinum for Platinum Plus. It is more important than a normal cascade. Worth a few cents more for the packaging.
