Do not buy if you are not a confident cook!

tldr: If you're not a seasoned home cook, this isn't for you. *Updated December 2020 and these pots have just weathered a year of constant cooking during the pandemic. They have held up well and I will go ahead and double down that they are worth the money! * Well, I would like to start by saying that I was skeptical about their price. I expected them to be thin and with uneven heat distribution. The bad reviews didn't help. But I decided to take a chance and if they were terrible I would send them back. A little more info: I cook on a gas stove and I cook A LOT. I usually cook 7 dinners a week, several breakfasts and something else. I needed something permanent. Right out of the box I was impressed! They are smooth but have a good weight. It's not too difficult though. I've had trouble frying in my favorite copper pan because it's so heavy and my arms lose strength. For me, that's the ideal weight. I decided to wait until I had the opportunity to cook a wide variety of dishes before writing this review. I haven't had any issues and to be honest I was impressed with how easy they are to clean. Bacon, eggs, thick curry, beans and other items that are usually difficult to clean can be cleaned very easily with a soft brush and dish soap. Do not put them in the dishwasher. Hand wash and dry quickly. So here's what you don't want to hear - if you can't cook, DON'T BUY IT. By experienced, I mean you should be able to cook without burning. If you even burn something from time to time, this is not for you. If you can't cook rice perfectly on the stove, you should probably look for another set, practice a little, and get back to these cute stainless steel babies in a year or so. If you don't like tidying up or leaving dishes in place, DO NOT BUY THIS! As long as you don't have trouble cleaning up after meals and washing your hands, you're fine. In general, this is something for people who know their way around the kitchen. Yes, you should use some butter or butter depending on what you're cooking. Yes, you should clean and dry them well. The bad reviews on this product were left by people who either received a genuinely faulty product (which is unlikely) or thought they were better chefs than they really are. Or maybe their phone rang while they were cooking rice and they forgot to turn off the fire, I don't know. ;) Anyway, it's amazing and for the price it's a steal. I've been using them daily for over a month and they feel great. I highly recommend!
