Review on 🚀 Bur-Cam 506532SS 0.75 HP versatile jet pump with dual functionality by Corey Singh

I bought this pump a few months ago. After my 2020 income tax refund, I bought a water softener for my house. But the municipal water pressure for my house is too low for the softener to work properly, so I had to pressurize it. This pump did just that. The pressure in the city is about 40psi when nothing is working, but drops below 14psi when anything is working in the house, but never below 10psi. Even the water heater went off while showering because the pressure in the city would be so low. I needed a constant 40-45psi pressure for a softener and a constant 25psi pressure for a water heater, but I needed at least 60psi for appliances, faucets and showers. I installed a pump and it increased the pressure in the house by 65psi, so with the pump it had a stroke of 105psi - depending on what the pressure was doing in town. I tried 105 psi for a few days. But showering at 105psi was like showering with a pressure washer, and the pipes rumbled and whined as the water flowed. The toilet squeaked as it filled at that pressure. So I had to install pressure regulators on both the inlet and outlet of the pump to set the ultimate pressure to the 60psi I wanted. The pressure regulators also helped stabilize the pressure so it no longer fluctuated with city pressure. In addition, the water heater has never switched off during a shower since the pump was installed. The pump has a built-in pressure switch and regulator, but these are not adjustable. I wish there was a way to adjust the pressure in the controller. Also, the inlet and outlet ports are 1" and in my area most of the plumbing in the house is 1/2" or 3/4" so I had to install them with adapter fittings and extra tubing. Also the pump needs at least 3 feet 1" pipe on the outlet side before it can be reduced to house pipe size. For me it's 3/4" for the main body and decreases back to 1/2" further down. Unfortunately, the instructions describe the features and requirements not very detailed I had to go online and email the company for advice on the technical fitting of the missing parts in the manual but their technician emailed me quickly with the information I needed in less than a day The pump works great and even keeps up with my 5 kids, my wife and I who shower and do laundry every day.
