Perfect for my 2003 TL Type S. I love how solid the struts are in the fully open position and how the drag drops to zero when the hood is lifted is lowered by 25 °. during the closing process. A wizard is a good idea when installing, but I managed to install a work light and then prop the hood up with my head and shoulders. I also found that I only had to pry the clamp strap a little to allow the ball to slide into the seat. For the inexperienced, the instructions are partly in broken English, but easy to understand. And two references are given to fasteners that require the use of an appropriately sized socket wrench for removal. However, your Acura (and most vehicles) do not require the ball joint mounting plate to be loosened or removed. I intend to let you know if you can't continue.
