Absolutely disappointing. I had my doubts about the $20 thermometer. Thought it might be a quick read that doesn't have to be exact. I ended up at work when my boss bought a $300 Fluke thermometer. I thought why not check these two thermometers. We tested the AMAZON sensor with a Fluke test tool and found the sensors to be accurate. The AMAZON thermometer, on the other hand, showed an error of more than 8 degrees when using Fluke probes, well above the +0.6 °C for which it is designed. The moral of the story is that the sensors are accurate, but the thermometer is not. ICE BATH CHECKED, NOT SURE.
