So far, so good. I've read complaints about the impossibility of fine-tuning, and those complaints may be valid. But I don't really need it. I can steer the flow according to my needs. I have a 55 gallon aquarium with an LED bubble stone and a small bubble stone in a sponge filter. I connected these two lines to two of the four connectors and closed the other two. I can use the other two connections later, but if not, I just leave them closed. At the time of my purchase, the 4-way valve was cheaper than the 3-way valve and about the same price as the 2-way valve, so it wasn't difficult. What I like about it is that when I feed, I can temporarily turn off the sponge filter by closing the valve on this air stone. My fish have learned that when it turns off, it's time to eat. After that I turn it on again. This is much easier than turning off the air pump manually.
