The ease of use, it's free and open source. I like that you can configure it with your own certificate file. It also has a lot of different options for authentication methods. You can choose from a variety of protocols, including SSL/TLS, SOCKS4 or 5, HTTP, FTP, SSH and more. I've used it to tunnel through firewalls and proxies. Sometimes it doesn't work if the firewall blocks certain ports. But if it does work, it works well. So far so good. I'm using it to connect to my VPS server at DigitalOcean. I don't have to worry about port forwarding anymore.
