I really like this kettle. I bought another one but wasn't happy with some features. This kettle includes these features and more! It took 2 minutes to boil 3 cups of water, which is way faster than I'm used to. I like that the on/off switch is on the bottom of the kettle and not on the handle. There's a button on the top of the lid that opens the lid (I'm guessing it's spring-loaded) and the lid stays open on its own, which is nice. I like the blue indicator light that lets you know it's on (although I'd rather have the light illuminate the switch, I instead keep looking at the switch to see if it's on, rather than at the ground of the pot where the light is on ) . As far as I can tell, the plastic doesn't come into contact with your water, which is good. I like the min/max line in the pot, but since I have to tilt the pot to put it under the faucet, I can't always tell when I've hit the min line without pulling it out of the water, to look at it. That. It's not really important just to mention something. It's very light when empty, which I appreciate. I also like that the pan is cordless. Just detach it from the base when it's done and you can pour it out without worrying about the cord getting in the way. The outside of the pot was never hot, which would make it a great gadget for those with poor eyesight or with young children. Don't be afraid of burns! (Although once the water boils, LOTS of steam comes out of the spout, so be careful!) I can hear the water boiling for a few seconds before the pot turns off, which can be confusing for some (because of the automatic setting). - disable claim). I wish there were other color options as white doesn't "fit" in my kitchen, but it's a sleek, beautiful design.
