All four bases are very light and thin with a very plastic feel despite being marked 'metal' on the product. (My magnets stick to the top, so I'm technically assuming it's metal.) The cork base is almost too thin to protrude beyond the outer frame of the stand's base, but it mostly stays in contact with the table . You can see how the color on the drawings sometimes doesn't match the metal prints (especially in Sheikha's blue eye). Overall pretty decent coasters with a nice design and cheap feel.
