Two sizes bigger! in my opinion
They were very small for my 3 year old (size 4 was too small). He's medium sized and a bit tall so I'm disappointed. I've never had a problem with Target underwear. Be sure to follow the recommendation to increase the size by two +

- Bought 2t. They fit perfectly in the waist, but I wish the hips were a bit narrower.
