To be honest I have nothing to compare them to. The drill bits I usually use are much smaller. When I ordered them I wasn't expecting how big they are and more likely to be used for the little ones, but I used the largest pieces in a project we were working on to rid our garden of overgrown trees. They've gotten too big to easily dig up the stumps, so on some I cut the stumps down to ground level by drilling big holes and filling them with compost in hopes they'll rot. I used the largest bit to poke holes in the hardwood stump. This was more inconvenient than drilling into planed wood or metal because the surface was uneven, which is living wood and dense. The drill was well centered and drilled without hesitation, quickly creating a large hole. I'm very happy with how well it works. and how well it has held up in our very wet and humid environment. I discard tools and accessories very quickly due to rust and corrosion. After a year these bits are in perfect condition with no sign of rust or corrosion.
