This is my second column of this type and I am generally satisfied. I bought it primarily for use on my bike for commuting and fun rides. When I originally ordered the bike mount frame did not fit the speaker snugly and allowed the speaker to move when I was riding on a rough road. This inevitably ended with the speaker flying off its mount and falling onto the pavement as I descended at around 30 mph. The speaker survived, but the faceplate fell off and was nowhere to be found. It has been 2 months since my purchase but the seller was kind enough to replace the speaker based on my cage feedback. The replacement speaker I received came with a new cage and it worked as expected. It wraps tightly around the speaker, preventing it from moving or being thrown out when driving on rough roads. I've ridden it 85 miles on rough roads and haven't had a problem with the speaker ever moving. The battery life on this thing is amazing too. I let it run at maximum volume for 5 hours straight and never ran out of battery. The best thing about this column is that I can mount it directly to my bike instead of strapping it down and scratching the paint over time. The sound isn't perfect, but I wasn't expecting anything outstanding. It usually gets loud enough to be heard over traffic, and if you drive hard enough in traffic to drown it out, then you're probably not in the "relax and enjoy the music" mood. The bike in my picture with the speaker is a Trek Checkpoint with top tube mounts. If my bike didn't have them, I'd have to mount them to the down tube or seat tube mounts, and I'm not sure how that would sound. With my bike I am very, very happy with this speaker and the seller.
