This balancer is great for small tires and wheels. Once you've adjusted the middle bubble, you're good to go. The problem I have is that the centering cone is too small to center the tires on my Ford pickup. Most of the cone is 4.377" and my rim's center hole is 4.889". Therefore, there is about half an inch of play. The only way to get it working is to lower the rim onto the balancer and then carefully center it using an appropriately sized drill bit as a spacer until the gap is the same everywhere. These are not uncommon discs. These are the stock rims on my 1973 F250 4X4. They fit the hub of the Dana 60 swing axle. How difficult would it be to design a larger cone?
