Thank you for such a wonderful product, especially including the straps required for installation. Among the tools I used and needed were T-10 and T-15 Torx bits and a screwdriver, a screwdriver, a 6mm deep socket, small curved needle nose pliers and a wood chisel or a long flat metal, around to lift the straps for installation. Special thanks to (VACUUMS ETC) on YouTube entitled How to Repair Dyson DC07, DC14 and DC33 - YouTube for a detailed repair video covering all aspects of this type of vacuum cleaner! In the repair/replacement video (timestamp 11:20) he mentions using a dowel to push the 'C-clip' back onto the coupling pin to secure it - a 6mm deep socket can also be used for this; Also, in this video, he simultaneously reverses the entire "clutch assembly" by pushing in the spring-loaded clutch pin. It's tough on your fingers, so I found it was easier to reattach the bearing and "C-clip" by placing the other end over the top of the bottle and pressing down on the spring-loaded clutch pin. It is STRONGLY recommended that any debris from the old belt be cleaned in and around the engine and old clutch prior to reinstallation to prevent the old debris from slipping through the new belts. While purchasing the entire "clutch assembly" with the belts installed would have been easier and cost $28, I was able to replace the much needed brush and just the brush belt as my clutch was working properly. The vacuum cleaner now works as it should - thanks!
