I have a silhouette. The mats are so expensive compared to Cricut mats that I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I switched to them - not only are they cheaper, but they have a much more realistic grip than the silhouette mats. The Silhouette mats are so incredibly sticky it's ridiculous - I would try to "peel" the mats before use, but the paper would still be very sticky. As much as I love regular cricket rugs, I needed something with a little less tack for very detailed items - and this worked great. A bit more expensive than regular rugs but I only use it for super detailed designs and my first one lasted forever.
