This is a great tire paint applicator. I have large Wrangler DuraTrac tires and this is the perfect size for taping large tire walls. I spray the bandage directly onto the applicator (I prefer a water-based satin bandage) and then apply it side to side and up and down the splint, finally quickly wiping off the excess bandage. to prevent spitting. The applicator holds the sprayed product well and covers the tire evenly, reducing the risk of pulling. My other tires are low profile Pilot Sports and this applicator is a bit too big to connect them so I spend more time rubbing them. If there was a smaller size I would have bought it immediately. However, this is a great product from a great company and I would recommend anyone to have it in their arsenal.
