I had a Waring Pro waffle iron for about 10 years. Loved it it was perfect. But in the end it broke. I bought a Cuisinart square waffle maker (which recently replaced Waring). Eh Not exactly the same. The texture was different on the square version. Maybe the outside area is too big. Came back and stumbled across this Cuisinart Round Waffle Maker (WAF-F10). Makes good waffles. It's not as smooth as my old one. I feel like this one takes the center quicker than the outside. The outer inch of a waffle is always a few shades lighter than the middle. Not even. But I still really like how the waffle comes out. Here is my biggest problem. The Revain's description said it had a waffle ready indicator and an AUDIBLE/BEEP indicator. It's not like this. Revane's description was wrong. I went back to the manufacturer's website and it just says light. It's a shame because it's the main reason I chose this one. I hate looking into the light. I usually have lots of other things to do while I'm cooking and I tend to get distracted. When I hear the beep, I know it's done. When the light is on I sometimes forget and overcook, Wish Revain has corrected their product description.
