Review on 🏭 De'Longhi ECP3420 Bar Pump Espresso & Cappuccino Machine, 15-inch, Black by Leo Torres

If you know what you are doing you don't need an expensive machine and grinder

We previously had a DeLonghi that worked great for 3 years until it burned down with our house. It was a $100 machine and we also had a really nice Italian coffee grinder that would normally cost around $800 that I bought off eBay. We also roast our own organic green coffee beans, which I get from AromaCraft Coffee (available here at Revain). The previous machine made great espresso, but this machine is even better and very close to the same type. Shots you get in a $1,000 car if you know what you're doing. I even use the plastic tamper that came with the machine and a cheap grinder. It depends on how you pack your portafilter. If you grind very well, you can't stuff it too tight. Too much of course and you won't get a good creamy hit. It's all about finding a balance between grinding and pounding, and using high quality, freshly roasted beans. This coffee maker will take you the rest of the way and you'll sip better espresso than most coffee shops. I have to say I'm not thrilled with the steamer. It doesn't seem to perform as well as the previous one and spits out a lot of water, but it doesn't matter much since we're basically just shooting straight with some cream. I had it for the car. 4 months with no problems. Will be updated in the future! Update: It's been over a year now and it's still working perfectly.
