Love this cufflink box. It now has my tie clips and even personalized real estate bags and other pins. Turn it over and guess what, nothing falls out! Well done. Very cool so yes it sits on top of the dress not in the drawer. Good that there is a window through which you can see everything. So put the tie on top and select the links before opening. The only thing I would change is that the top doesn't lock - I say "I think" because the fact that it doesn't lock also came in handy when I only had one hand free. I also mentioned that nothing will fall out if you hold it upside down. I accidentally discovered this when the device slipped out of my hand and was wide open! I am 1000% satisfied with the product which has remained in my favorites as a future gift idea for friends, family and clients.
