Okay, I have MS. So it gets harder over time! I've been trying to find can openers my whole life! However, most of these are rubbish! They are so thin they break after a few uses. exactly in half! Theses are thick and stay in my hand! Even when I'm cooking and my hand is wet they still open this lid easily! Why did I give him 4 starts instead of five, they should be almost 2 inches taller. Small medicine jars are fantastic, but large jars just hang down the rim of the jar and are very difficult to open. Does it help. yes, but Gripper doesn't always help! I kept it until my crumbling old one I had for 15 years yes 15! This is about 1 1/2 inches more around. I wish it was 2 cm bigger. After getting 3 I thought it was a waste of time BUT I was wrong, I have one in the kitchen, one in my studio and one in the garage, they come in handy for a lot of things. The bottle opener worked, my husband really liked it and uses it in the garage. I don't want something like that in my kitchen. Say it works great!
