The Bluetooth idea is great, but these bulbs aren't that reliable. I'd happily pay 50% more for a stronger pair and get rid of the wired connection between the two devices. I knew better than to rely on their magnetic feet to hold them securely - I used to buy the fixed wire version and it didn't stay on my boat trailer very long so I built a solid rail retention system. Tag for this set that keeps them high, dry and locked away. And I understand that we're getting high impact plastic these days, but can't they be a little more impact resistant? The wireless connection works well enough, but isn't it possible to design a two-channel system that doesn't require running a connecting cable between two devices? These lights could be upgraded to be a permanent installation and an inexpensive way to replace the wiring on a boat trailer or any trailer. Go back to the drawing board and make a really useful decision.
