Not suitable for gearboxes and gearboxes

I wanted to fit the hisun 196cc engine but it didn't fit at all. I assume hisun is a 5/8 shank but I have a 3/4 adapter so I thought it would be ok but no it doesn't even fit a 5/8 shank.
