Review on ๐ŸŽ’ The Friendly Swede Waterproof Duffel Bag Backpack: A Versatile 35L VAXHOLM Roll Top Dry Bag for Gym, Travel, and Sports by Nick Griffith

AN EXCELLENT VALUE!

This bag is amazingly versatile in design, and it's solidly constructed. The fabric is robust and the seams are welded in wide overlaps. It functions in three modes: although its not intended to be a backpack it works well enough as such when you need your hands free to carry other things (when it might still be awkward carrying it in shoulder bag mode). All three straps detach to store inside. Unlike most roll-top waterproof bags, which are oriented in an upright configuration, this bag sits horizontally to load and unload, so you don't wind up with something buried deeply under other stuff. It has numerous D-rings to secure it to a kayak, and I was pleased to find that the roll-top kept the water out when it was dropped overboard. It's good in salt water, as it uses velcro rather than a metal zipper to secure the roll-top. In addition to D-rings all over it, there are a pair of expandable straps on one side for securing a larger item like an exercise mat. There is also a strip of webbing on one side with a series of loops sewn into it, which can be used for lashing other items on. It even has a "garage" to secure the zipper pull on the side pocket! Such attention to detail really sets this bag apart from the rest. It comes packed in a draw-string bag that I can use for other storage, and that was in a sealed plastic bag inside the ebay box. All things considered - design, construction, and packaging - this bag is easily worth a lot more than it sells for."
