These are quite expensive license plate bolts but they are very well made and should last forever. The kit includes 8 bolts, washers and lock washers and 4 nuts, all stainless steel. The washers have an outer diameter of 12 mm and a thickness of approx. 1.5 mm. The kit includes a hand wrench and screwdriver and 8 pads measuring 40 x 40mm with a central cut-out to cushion the back of the plate. The screws are basically a 6-point Torx design, but they have a central protrusion that prevents the use of standard wrenches. The heads are smooth and flat so it wouldn't be easy to remove them without a wrench, which is for security but also prevents losing the wrench. M6-1 screws, the kit includes four 15mm screws and four 20mm screws. If your license plate is attached directly to the car you should be confident that M6-1 bolts will work, but today they are considered the license plate standard. Of course, if you use nuts, it doesn't matter.
