Review on 🔬 BACOENG Stainless Chamber with Silicone Degassing by Dave Hammon

I am new to vacuum degassing. I did a little research on the products and decided to install Bacoeng. I originally wanted to get a smaller camera but decided to spend a little more for the 1.5 gallon size. I'm glad I did. It fits in a decent container or several small degassing containers, and the pressure gauge on the side leaves the glass surface free to watch the process. It's fun to put down a marshmallow and let a seven year old learn a thing or two. It holds vacuum very well. I got -29.5 and went 24 hours and held without problems. The glass lid is heavy and closes quickly, and the chamber walls/floor are thick and strong. The included gauge and valves are solid and work very well with the camera, and the silicone mat is thick and looks very well made. It is very well packaged and delivered quickly with no damage. If I had to criticize it would be the rubber washer used for the sensor on the inside of the camera. You will need to tighten the inner nut slightly to compress the washer enough for it to seal properly. See image. A thicker washer or maybe a stronger washer would help seal it up a little easier. Otherwise all around 5 stars.
