I usually mess things up. But it was pretty easy. The product arrived on time with safety drivers, I received two as promised. I followed the online instructions to open my PS3. I used my magnetizer/demagnetizer to make removing/replacing many of the screws easier. Once inside, it was pretty easy. Be careful with all the ties and their little black plastic "clips". There is a very small connector on the underside of the drive board. I used needle nose pliers to remove/reinstall it. Any. After putting everything back together, I booted it up and launched the game. Voila! I played around a bit and now we have a working PS3. Hooray! Only time will tell how long the new drive will last, but let's face it, it was pretty cheap compared to paying someone for it or buying a 'new' PS3. Hi!
