No Dyson stamp on the bottom so who knows if it's genuine. The packaging says so, but it appears to be more fragile than a standard filter. But it fits well and doesn't fall out like a normal one. I think we are being scammed. So if you have a real Dyson filter, I'm happy for you. I also bought a battery here in the secondary market. I didn't want to pay $95 to replace Dyson. Dyson has been good to me, so now they get my money. They have repaired several vacuum cleaners for me even after the warranty. Don't skimp on it anymore.
