If you have long or dry hair, this product is NOT for you. It takes a lot of product to create foam even on the 2nd wash. It leaves the top and crown of my hair very acidic. Invest in a good conditioner and detangling brush. I didn't notice any hair growth, only hair breakage. But I wash my hair every 2-3 days. Hair gets rough even with conditioner, but when dried it becomes very soft. It practically doesn't smell. I wish the conditioner was a little thicker because it would help with tangles and I would have to use less of it. However, it makes my hair thicker even with different shampoos and air drying. I will no longer buy shampoo, but I will buy balm again. One last thing, for best results it is recommended to leave both products on for 8 minutes. I have neither time nor a long shower.
