Review on CURT 45018 Trailer 4 Inch Receiver by Brian Nelson

I was going to install this in my new Reese 1-1/4" receiver but it didn't fit. So I looked at the end and noticed that the paint was bulging around the edge. Assuming paint bubbles were the problem, I sanded the edge of the comb on the shank end and tried again. It failed again. I thought the new Reese hitch receiver, which i just installed two days ago might be small so i tried to fit it into my other car's 1-1/4" receiver and it didn't fit there either. so i measured it. how As you can see in the photo it measures 1.27" although it needs to be smaller than 1.25" to fit a 1-1/4" receiver. But I've already sharpened my lip so can I don't give them back. Ha! Is life not a thrill?
