Review on 🐦 Ian and Rick's Daily Bird Food Mix: A Nutritious Blend for African Greys, Macaws and Cockatoos with Seeds, Nuts, Veggies, and Fruits by Judy King

"Mostly " seeds? Almost exclusively sunflower seeds.

Sunflower seeds are not a good idea for a bird's main diet. Young birds that are very active may be more acceptable, but for most birds a diet consisting mostly of sunflower seeds is a terrible idea. This mix is made up almost entirely of sunflower seeds, so there is very little else that makes it difficult to pinpoint anything other than the obvious. Peanuts are still in the shell. This is the most expensive bag of seeds I've ever tasted! I was hoping to see a lot of other ingredients - there was such a long list of interesting things only to realize that maybe 5% of the volume of this huge bag is made up of those other ingredients. I can use it as a treat, but no more. Grays require a lot of calcium and I have observed a tendency towards liver disease in Grays that consume a lot of sunflower seeds, which are nutrient poor and high in carbohydrates/fat. However, they are tasty and a great workout treat. A seed training treat works great. There were no product photos on the list, otherwise I would not have decided to try this birdseed. Please do not use this as a daily food unless your vet wants your bird to gain weight on a high fat diet or perhaps to help wean fussy chicks who play enough to burn calories.
