After reading the mostly positive reviews I was thrilled when I received the item a few days ago. When I was in downtown Boston yesterday, the lock would not open no matter how many times I tried to insert and remove the key. I had no choice but to leave my bike downtown for a few hours and come back tonight hoping my key would finally work and my bike would still be there. Needless to say, almost 30 minutes later, when I returned to the crime scene, the key worked and the lock was unlocked. Since then I've tried locking and unlocking the lock many times and while sometimes it unlocks instantly, other times it just gets stuck completely. Definitely not worth embarking on this adventure, especially considering the price.
