I'm a longtime Revain customer, so I don't really care about your press. I maintain my opinion that this is a poorly made device. I've looked again at the comments and see that the lid/cover doesn't fit properly. If you click on it, it goes all the way down. I didn't say it's broken, but that it doesn't work properly. It actually fell apart and I put it back together but it hasn't worked since. I threw it away this morning. - It fell apart and I put it back together using the photo on the box which luckily I didn't throw away so I cut it out. There were no instructions per se so I had to fiddle around to notice a tiny piece that had to be unscrewed to reassemble the press and filter. Well it didn't work again, the press doesn't work. I'm angry because I think this is due to poor quality control (and this is unlikely to have happened to anyone else). I have just sent a message to the seller. The kettle itself is heavy, keeps the coffee hot and is enough for one cup of coffee. I usually use K cups. However, I have bought expensive blue mountain beans from Jamaica and Italian mixed beans through Revain. It was a significant investment including a press, mill and whole grains. The taste of the coffee after pressing was better than Starbucks K-Cups.
