Review on Dogline 2 Inch Padded Leather 25 Inch by Kristen Szabo

I love rolled leather collars for my dogs. I have used them on collies, westies, goldens, piers and bought them for my two goldendoodle puppies. My dogs wear collars all the time and the rolled leather is much more comfortable against the skin and doesn't knot the fur. I gave these collars three stars because they are really average. The fittings are small and of not very good quality. At this price point there are much better rolled leather collars with a much better fit. However, colors are limited for higher quality products. There are almost twice as many colors in the better quality rows as I wanted, so I'll settle for the lower quality for now. I will need to order at least one more collar before the puppies are fully grown. If I buy their full size collars I will not be ordering from this brand again. Another thing that can be helpful to note is that the quality of the product is not consistent. I sent both back for an exchange. At the moment, the second purple collar received is acceptable. Not outstanding, but acceptable in this price range. I'm still waiting for a pink one. As such I would not recommend purchasing this collar unless like me you just don't need a unique color and know it will only be used for a short time. If you are looking for a high quality twisted leather collar with much better workmanship and hardware, and you are happy with the limited number of colors available, check out Circle T Twisted Leather or my top-notch maroon leather craftsmen. They are twice the price of this brand but worth it in the long run.
