Best socks ever! for physical culture and fitness

Seriously? After all, it's just socks. Same day, slightly different style. Well, that would just be wrong! I was looking for new socks to wear with my athletic shoes. Now you might think I'm a runner, a jogger, a sprinter; Crossfitter, Orange Theory or another exotic training program. Wrong again :0)).n iThe most strenuous exercise I do is the stationary bike and light weights. Otherwise, I'm just a normal pensioner who walks my dogs (miniature dachshund, thanks for asking :0)), goes shopping, runs errands, does laundry, cooks, gardens and generally goes for a lot of walks. So why would I choose these (to me) ridiculously expensive socks? Well, I had foot surgery a few years ago for a torn ligament and it left me with constant heel pain and the need for strong arch support. So I was looking (sigh again) for a pair of good socks that can help and be comfortable. They caught my attention as they are labeled R and L, with visible directional support for each woven leg. They have also been reported to have a shock absorbing heel. (Now you know I'm retired as I have time to carefully study photos and descriptions of socks :0)). However, I was skeptical as they were advertised as "merino wool" and wool always gave me an allergic reaction. As soon as the socks arrived and I tried them on, I was immediately hooked. In fact, they had independent right and left support, and the heel was well-cushioned. Despite being merino wool, they are the softest, most comfortable socks I have and I haven't had an allergic reaction to them. I just ordered a second 3 pack and am planning to replace all my socks with these. You are worth every penny.
