I use dobi pads and only dobi pads. It's awesome! I gave them (believe it or not) as stocking stuffers. They don't scratch my pans like many others. Food can be easily washed. When Teflon was in fashion I used it without scratching or peeling the material. I cannot recommend them enough. I also have a trick I use to keep them odor free and last longer. After use, I give the Dobie a good rinse and then apply some liquid dish soap (any brand will do) to the pad. Squeeze the pad to spread the soap over the entire surface. One ray is enough. This keeps the pads from having a sour, musty smell until the next time I use them. The texture is also enough to release food from the pans. They last a long time and still look great
