This product does everything I want and more. I have a chest freezer that I put in the shed outside. I needed a way to dissipate the heat. I didn't want to rely solely on convection so I bought that, installed fans upstairs in the shed and got a blank grille which I installed downstairs in the shed. Keep in mind that this is southern Arizona and the temperature outside is in the triple digits. This setup keeps the temperature in the barn above 95 (the freezer is rated at 110 degrees) which is exactly what I was looking for. I programmed it to 85 (which is also the shutdown temperature). Works great and I actually have to put my hand in front of the fan unit to see if the fans are running (there is an indicator light on the control unit but the fans make no noise at all). I was concerned that I might have to get another fan pack to pull in air (the controller might use multiple fan packs), but this dual fan configuration keeps the room temperature within the freezer design specifications. Quality construction and components, they even give you templates (plastic no less) for the fans and control box to make cut outs.
