Nothing for beginners

I like to embroider with a cross. It took me years to feel comfortable enough to switch from printed cross stitch to counted cross stitch. There is a big difference between them. In cross-stitch die-cutting, a design is applied to the embroidery. All you have to do is sew the pattern. With a counted cross, you have a pattern outline that tells you where to place the stitch. The stitch is empty and you must count each square to place a stitch. Counted cross stitch is more difficult than stamped. This kit is counted cross stitch. The nitrogen is empty. There is no template for you. Aside from the fact that cross stitch is not for beginners, I had another problem. chokers. It looks like they haven't been polished. It's entirely possible to get a shard. Check the hoops before use and sand the hoops down with hand sandpaper if necessary. Everything else in the kit is great. I like the colors offered. The name of the color is not indicated on the thread, but the number is. The number printed on the thread is the DMC color number so finding the color is not a problem if you need more. There is also a large selection of needles. I only recommend this kit if you have cross stitch experience and have access to the patterns.
