I have an elderly dog that I adopted as the eldest and he seems to urinate in tiny amounts a hundred times a day, very annoying. He also started eating kitty litter (not poop, but litter, but I digress). So I had a gate on the bedroom door and a gate on the bathroom door. That worried me a lot. This gate is short enough to climb over, but it can block access to both rooms (which meet in the corner). 2/3 of the gate blocks the door, 3rd panel, with something heavy (cat litter) pressed against the chest. I can also go from the bedroom to the bathroom like a normal person and do not go through 2 different gates. It needs to be stabilized at one end so the cat can jump over it and because the Chihuahua will bang its head on it. The cats don't like it, but now they've adapted. A very good solution for me.
