This heater, (borate voice) Very good! I gave all 5/5 stars except for the remote control because some things need to be pressed while aiming at the ground and sometimes you have to aim at the ground. Above. It's like 2 separate IR sensors, 1 for the fire lit and circulation options i.e. when you're aiming at the ground, and one for temperature, modes and power. The IR sensor is at the very top, which isn't really a great place to place IR sensors. If you need to split the infrared sensors into 2 different ones to save cost, both need to be in the same area so you don't look like stupid inflatable hand waving people trying to get the remote to talk to the device. It's not really bad, but it's annoying at first, after a few times you get used to where to aim, which is still a bit annoying, but not a huge disadvantage. It just had to be at the front of the unit, closer to the top rather than directly at the top, which is why it's pointing straight at the roof. However, this is a really good heater, you can turn on the mode that allows you to adjust it. at a certain temperature, which works very well. Once you've got it set up the way you like it, you don't really have to do anything because when it gets warm enough that the heater turns off, it just blows the fan and not the heat, which is good when the heater is off is . on days when it's a bit warmer outside. You don't really notice it's on until you remember it's on, so it's not loud. I like the look of the fire at its base. This gives the impression that the fire is actually burning and where the heat is coming from. So for me only 1 small complaint about it is really good. I would buy Def again if I needed another one.
