We're renovating a 14 year travel trailer. The first project after a deep cleaning and soaking every surface in Lysol, was tearing out the nasty old window treatments. Pulling out the fabric valances (dust!) and gross, non-working mini blinds was like stepping into the future. I put up super light weight, thin curtain rods and curtains in every window.These are in the bedroom windows. The deep navy color with the silver accent definitely updated the room immediately. They are not full light blocking, but they do darken a room significantly in the heat of the day. Because they can be washed, the bedroom can be kept cleaner with less effort.
