As a part-time BMW technician I can attest that they work very well with a few minor quality issues that are easy to fix. Once installed they worked great and will hopefully work for a while. First, the screw holes are the correct size, but the spacing between them is slightly off. You will need a drill and a drill bit to either widen the holes a little or completely drill out the small brass inserts. To drill them out, all you have to do is drill through the top of one side of the insert and remove the whole thing. Second, the metal cork clip is a bit torn off, but it works. The top of the socket that holds the plug in place isn't as wide as it should be, but you can just press down on the clips and the slots will widen and hold the plug in place. Although it will take a few extra minutes. When it comes to fitting, it's still worth saving over 'higher end', especially if you have a V8 like me.
