Incredibly effective

Comes double boxed and individually foam boxed. Supplied with dielectric grease pack. The weight was similar to Bremi coils and worked fine in a 1998 BMW 740iL. No complaints so far, I will update if there are any issues in the future.

  • Regular price

03 Range Rover HSE Parts

Great product but not as good as OEM. Can't beat the price. The setup was perfect and my Range Rover purred. It hasn't sounded that smooth since I bought it. I would recommend them. I'm not sure how long they will last. I've had them for about 1000 miles but I believe the quality will make them last.

SMALL CHANGE IS REQUIRED BEFORE INSTALLATION!

When you first pull them out of the plastic, the metal clips have two curved "prongs" that need to be bent FLAT to open the clip to its highest position. Look at the old coil and you will see. If not, they don't fit. Easy modification with needle nose pliers. One of my misfire codes has been fixed, but I still need a CCV and some vacuum hoses.

The Best Experience

The Best Experience! Arrived in advance, well packed, after installation everything worked perfectly. I got into the engine of my 2001 740i for the first time and did something of this magnitude. All you need is a 10mm head and about an hour to replace all 8. Total cost for parts, warranty and new head was about $136 which is better than my regular mechanic who charges $250 for parts and labor PER PACK OF COILS! Thanks for a great product!

  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

So far so good good for spare parts

Bought these coils for a 1999 BMW e39 540i. I only installed them about a month ago but have already put about 2,000 miles on them including two long trips. They were an exact replacement for my car. They really smoothed out the rough idle and improved performance. Not wanting to spend $500 on original Bosch coils, I took a chance and bought them. I would take the OEM if the car wasn't so old. I'll update my review if at some point they don't work.

  • Waiting for
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

After replacing all 8 factory ignition coils, these misfires are gone.

1/13/2019: As stated in the reviews, the fit was not exact on the ignition module connector latches. I found that the locks were very tight and required more pressure than the OEM to unlock position and adjusting to the locked position required a light tap on the lock to lock it in the locked position. Also, the coils were stripped of all manufacturing marks and looked like they had been remade with just an opaque fill on top of the assembly. . There was a chalky blue residue in each hole in…

So far very good for the money

As a part-time BMW technician I can attest that they work very well with a few minor quality issues that are easy to fix. Once installed they worked great and will hopefully work for a while. First, the screw holes are the correct size, but the spacing between them is slightly off. You will need a drill and a drill bit to either widen the holes a little or completely drill out the small brass inserts. To drill them out, all you have to do is drill through the top of one side of the insert and…
