This product was perfect for enhancing the look of my gaudy plain shower - see attached before and after photos (reverse after loading!). I didn't like that the shampoo bottles etc were visible in my shower and I don't like the color of the tiles on the walls but I couldn't afford to re-paste the shower walls. This film applied to glass was the perfect solution! I've found that there are several keys to success: Take the time to make sure you get it right the first time. From start to finish it took me about 4 hours to complete 3 of my shower panels, but I have windex cleaned the glass (outside, not inside) of my shower stall several times, particularly on top of the glass panels as this area holds most of the film weight. I measured the panels and sections of the file VERY carefully several times before cutting to make sure I measured correctly. To make sure I could cut in a straight line, I used scissors to mark the cut lines with pieces of black electrical tape (easy to see) applied every few inches to the film backing as it was removed. I then used the spray gun to wet the glass before just removing the backing from the top 12 inches or so and once it was positioned correctly I sprayed more onto the bottom of the glass and pulled the backing down another 12 inches . " or something, and placed that area, checked again at the very top to see if I had moved it, and then repeated these steps until I got to the very bottom. Then I used my hand and a plastic spatula wrapped in paper towel to squeegee out the air To remove bubbles, gently wipe from the center of the film to the outer edges a few times.Once all the air bubbles are gone, I very slowly and carefully trim off the excess with a single-edged blade. This is time consuming, but I think my excellent results were owing to the fact that what I was working on was slow - after removing that backing from the glass film I didn't want to mess anything up and had to try and clean the backing of the film or the window while still leaving the film lint free.Customers are much happier if they help us understand which side is the back i have many reviews from people read who were dissatisfied with your product because it didn't stick to the glass - they responded by suggesting that they probably didn't remove the backing. I had no trouble sticking the film on so you're probably right about people not removing the backing, but how about making things easier for your customers by putting a sticker on the back or some sort of seal affix to tell us what side should be subtracted. ?
