Sound is only heard from the left side of the headset. When I plug my headset directly into my controller it works fine, so the problem is 100% with the adapter. Using the official Elgato adapter, both parts of the headset worked fine, but it only lasted about a month before strong static electricity emanated from this part. I would recommend the official Elgato instead, but they are of very poor quality and often need to be replaced. Must be a third party to make a quality adapter that will last and be fully functional.
