Doesn't work for wired controllers

$10 isn't much, but I expected it to work without problems. If you have a wired controller, you can't use it without hearing a high-pitched howl. This is caused by applying power to the controller and a bad cable just can't handle it and weeps. If you have a wireless controller, I'm told it will work, but for those of us with wired controllers like the Razer Wolverine, this isn't a viable option. I will be returning this product and note that they cannot add a way to solve this issue for wiredโ€ฆ

Partial only in the headset.

Sound is only heard from the left side of the headset. When I plug my headset directly into my controller it works fine, so the problem is 100% with the adapter. Using the official Elgato adapter, both parts of the headset worked fine, but it only lasted about a month before strong static electricity emanated from this part. I would recommend the official Elgato instead, but they are of very poor quality and often need to be replaced. Must be a third party to make a quality adapter that willโ€ฆ

Cable works the same as the Elgato Chat link. It appears to be made of a thinner material than the brand's material, but not by much. There were some issues with the headset jack when trying to connect the Hyper X Cloud Core 2. The socket didn't go all the way in. I switched to a Razer headset with a thinner input and it worked fine. Went back to my Hyper X and had to put in a little more effort to get it to fit fully in the entryway. When I've done that, it works great. If you experience this,
