I clicked on the wrong product and rated a different product instead. So here is my review of the single outlet air switch. This air switch works as advertised and we were keen on using it until our electrician spoke to us about using recycle alongside instant. One option is to connect two dedicated circuits, one for instant heating (required by code) and an additional circuit for disposal. With the first option, we could use this switch, but this would add cost to our upgrade and require a second circuit. The second option was to use a more expensive dual plug air switch. Each time the button is pressed, each connector changes state. Therefore, instahot can be plugged into an enabled outlet except when running the uninstall. Press the air switch again and the recycle will turn off and the hot water will turn back on. The only downside to this type of air switch is the cost, which almost doubles. the second exit was impossible. So I got a dual air release switch, plugged the recycle into one outlet and the InstaHot into the other. More money but less clutter and cable management under the sink.
