Great Tool, Not For Everyone
This has helped a lot of kids I've worked with so I thought I'd give it a try with my own wiggly sensory seeker. She doesn't care for it at all. She's too sensitive to the poky side and even on the side that's more smooth it seems to make her feel less stable rather than challenging and alerting her righting reactions. Still, a great piece of sensory equipment but definitely not for everyone.
- Can be used as part of a sensory diet
- Could be too stimulating for some individuals with sensory processing issues
