Bought to replace the original which stopped working after a month or two. This lasted three months. I knew it probably wouldn't last, so I bought the Assurion protection plan. The $4 guarantee seemed worth it since they can just keep sending new ones, right? NOT CORRECT! Assurion will not replace the remote as they say the cost is less than what the plan calls for?! So if you don't want to donate $4 to Assurion, save your money and pass on the guarantee.
